In today’s world with its rapidly changing business, social and political environment, personalized solutions for Asset Protection, Taxation and Wealth Management are more important than ever.
Following in the footsteps of his grandfather who established Bankhaus Seuss & Strobel (Munich, Nuremberg, Erlangen) in Germany, it has been the goal of Stefan R. Seuss to move beyond banking by providing his clients with state-of-the art expertise in the highly specialized field of international tax law and wealth preservation.
Mr. Seuss started on this path by passing his banker’s exam in the field of financing and investing at HYPO Bank, Munich. Following additional education in law in Switzerland, Germany and in the United States, Stefan Seuss added practical experience at Baker & MacKenzie (Frankfurt, Germany) in commercial litigation and contract law. This was followed by work in the fields of real estate transactions and taxation at Le Boeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae (Jacksonville, Florida).
It was during his experience with Le Boeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae that he realized the importance of taxation in connection with international transactions. After his bar admission in Germany in 1998 he returned to the U.S., became a member of the Tax Law Society at the University of Miami, Miami, Florida and worked in the area of international tax structuring and asset protection while passing his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Comparative Law and Juris Doctor (J.D.) at University of Miami School of Law.
In 2003 he became a Partner in Richards & Seuss (Miami, Florida) which provided tax related guidance for international transactions for high net worth individuals who were holding assets in several jurisdictions. This in turn led to his specialization in off-shore, asset protection services. During this time he also started his work as independent legal counsel to various private banks in Switzerland.
Starting his own consulting firm in February 2005, Stefan R. Seuss established Seuss & Partners, an international network of highly-qualified independent partners and affiliates, specialized in corporate, tax, real estate and immigration law as well as private banking, Family Office services and fund management, a so called “boutique” practice.
